Remove A Red Wine Stain From A Tablecloth

The holiday season is fastly approaching and with the holidays comes at home entertaining. Nothing can pout a damper on a gather more than when a guest spills a glass of red wine on your brand new tablecloth. The hostess must try her best not to seem annoyed and the poor guest can't stop apologizing. Wouldn't it be great if we could get that stain out with as little grief as possible.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

One method many people believe in pouring hot water over the stain and then blotting the stain with a dry towel. Many feel hot water is a miracle agent.

  2. Step 2

Another popular method first pour club soda over the stain to dilute the stain and then sprinkle the spot with salt to absorb the rest of the stain.l

  3. Step 3

Some folks believe if you pour white wine over the red wine stain it will dilute it. I'm not sure about it, but if you drink it you will probably feel better.

  4. Step 4

Some of my drinker friends suggest a mixture of detergent and Oxy clean. I ask who would know better.

  5. Step 5

In addition some people have suggested to me a mixture of ammonia, water and then wipe with lemon vinegar.

  6. Step 6

Lastly, a new product on the market called Spot Shot has been said to do a very good job.
