You can always find something useful out of cereal boxes rather than just to throw away. If you're really creative, any design or image on the box can be made out of a wonderful decoration.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start at the top of the box, cut off both the flaps (right side, left side) cut a straight line. The inner flap (right side, left side) cut off both. Do without any unnecessary or unattractive edges.

  2. Step 2

Cut down and around either (left side or right side) of the box if you find any thing worthy on either sides, can be used as a bookmark. The bottom of the cereal box may contain a UPC purchase code if its something you need or don't need.

  3. Step 3

The front of the cereal box might have an interesting cartoon character or design. With this you can make it an attractive book or notebook cover by trying your best artistic creative skill to cut out any writing, logo, or a picture of a cereal bowl. Make sure to carefully crop out your cartoon character from the box to go onto your book or notebook cover.

  4. Step 4

At the back may contain either a comic, fun-maze, or a puzzle game that you can save just for the fun of it. Sometimes you'll find the fun stuff on the back inside of the box but the outside of the box is colorful and more fun and innovative.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to cut on a straight line.
  • When cutting, avoid unnecessary edges.
  • Make sure not to scrap the good parts.
  • Careful you don't snip your fingers.
