How to Make Baby Shower Word Search Games

Crosswords or word searches are a great addition to any baby shower.

Things You'll Need

• Paper
• Pen
• Ruler

Instructions

1. Brainstorm your theme. Ideas include famous babies, baby items, or baby animals.

2. List the words you would like to use.

3. Create a grid. Using the ruler make boxes about 1.5cm by 1.5 cm. Make it approximately 25x25 squares.

4. Spell out the words in all caps. This makes the words harder to find. List them horizontally, and diagonally. List words off the letters included in other words.

5. Add in additional capital letters to fill the spaces that are left.. To make it extra tricky start some letters to form almost, but not complete words. Add in additional words not on the list as another added trick.

6. List the words that are to be searched for on the side in a column.

7. Make enough photocopies for all participants.

8. Time the word search. Whoever finishes finding all the words first is the winner!!
