Things You'll Need:
- 2 or more chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup or more rice
- water
- chicken bouillon granules
- bay leaves
- poultry seasoning
- lemon pepper seasoning
-
Step 1
Add two(2) or more completely thawed chicken breasts to your crock pot.
-
Step 2
Pour enough cups of water to cover the chicken breasts and one (1) extra cup above that amount into the crock pot.
-
Step 3
Next add one (1) teaspoon of chicken bouillon granules for each (1) cup of water you added to the crock pot.
-
Step 4
Next add one (1) bay leaf for every two (2) chicken breasts you used to the crock pot.
-
Step 5
Next sprinkle enough poultry seasoning to lightly cover the top of the water in the crock pot.
-
Step 6
To add a little extra flavor, shake lemon pepper seasoning three (3) to four (4) times into the crock pot.
-
Step 7
Now plug-in your crock pot and turn on low for about 8 hours. (This is fabulous to get ready and put on before work and then come home to!)
-
Step 8
When the time is up, remove the chicken from the crock pot and break up into small pieces. (It should fall apart easily!)
-
Step 9
Put the chicken back into the crock pot and add a half (1/2) cup of rice per every two chicken breasts you originally used.
-
Step 10
Keep the crock pot on low and after thirty (30) minutes the rice will be tender and your dish is ready to serve and enjoy! Don't forget to turn off the crock pot and refrigerate leftovers.
