Step 1
So often people become intimidated when it comes to color. My motto...if you don't like it, repaint it. Afterall, it's not a permanent decision. First, go to your local home improvement store and pick out any and ALL swatches you are interested in. I reccommend getting a couple of each swatch so you can tape them together to make a larger sample.

Step 2
Bring the swatches home and tape them to their matches. This makes a larger more visable & realistic swatch. Place them in various areas of your kitchen and leave them for a few days. Colors can change in different light sources. Just because something looks yellow in the store doesn't mean it will in your home.

Step 3
Once you've decided which color to go with, take the swatch back to the home improvement store and purchase your paint. Remember to get a satin/eggshell finish. These are washable and much easier to clean! Start with one wall...typically a 'focal' point in the kitchen. Paint and let dry overnight. This allows you to check, yet again, the color.
