Yucky shower floor?
Yucky shower floor?

Tile grout gets dirty in many different ways. In the bathroom, it's usually mold or mildew causing the grout stains. Lots of people like me have their own special solutions or secret recipes for cleaning around the house. With the right cleaning solution, you can get your grout looking fresh and brand new. This solution works for me.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Take everything off the floor of your shower. Get your cleaning supplies out.
In a spray bottle mix a cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup of water and 1/3 cup of bleach.

  2. Step 2

Proceed to sprinkle baking soda all over the shower floor.

  3. Step 3

After the baking soda is all over the floor, spray the solution on top of it. For best results let it sit for 2-3 hours.

  4. Step 4

Use a tooth brush or a stiff brush for scrubbing (I highly recommend the second one) for cleaning tile grout. Use gloves and protective eye wear when working with any chemical-based cleaners.
    All done!
