Things You'll Need:
- 1 10" pie shell
- Nestle semi-sweet morsels
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 2/3 cup of liquid egg
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup light Karo syrup
- a pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup melted margarine

Step 1
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Starting with the unbaked pie shell, place 1/4 cup Nestle morsels in the bottom. Now add 1/2 cup pecan pieces to the bottom of the shell. Make sure your pecans and chocolate chips are evenly distributed on the bottom of the shell. -
Step 2
In a large bowl place your liquid egg, melted margarine, sugar, salt, and Karo syrup. Using a wire whip, mix well. This will be your pie filling.

Gently add the filling mixture to the pie shell. Pour slowly so that you do not disturb the already placed pecans and chocolate chips.

Sprinkle 2 tbsp of chocolate morsels over the top of the pie.
Bake pie in pre-heated oven for 1 hour.
When serving pie, place each slice in microwave for 10 seconds and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a special treat.
