How to Install the NPR Mobile App (Application) on Your BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, or Storm
My husband is a talk radio addict. I bought him XM for Christmas last year, and ALL he listens to is the talk radio stations. When he's away from his XM, he listens to NPR on his BlackBerry. Now he can listen to NPR's hourly news, top stories, and song of the day where ever he goes. Installing the NPR app onto a BlackBerry device is very easy.

Turn on your BlackBerry device.

From the home page, locate your browser tile (icon).

Click on your browser tile.

Point your BlackBerry browser to www.NPR.org.

On NPR.org, near the top of the screen, there's a text link that says, "Get the NPR BlackBerry shortcut." Click on that text link.

On the new screen, scroll down about 2/3 of the way down the screen.

Click on the text link that says, "Go."

On the next screen, choose to download this NPR app to your BlackBerry by clicking the word, "Download."

Once the NPR app has finished downloading to your BlackBerry, click the "Okay" text link.

Note that on some BlackBerry devices, you may need to move the npr shortcut from your desktop applications folder to your devise. check your instructional manual for more information about downloading apps to your device if these instructions did not work for you.
