Things You'll Need:
- Your own grocery bags, or pay 5 cents each
-
Step 1
Aldi advertises heavily that their private labeled products meet or beat national brand products. They guarantee this with a double satisfaction guarantee.
-
Step 2
The store is small, stocked only with the most used products. I found the best savings in the refrigerated and fresh produce sections. Milk is only $2.39, yogurt $.43, pie crust $1.59, 4 cup shredded cheese $3.49, 3 color peppers for only $1.99, bag of oranges or apples for $1.99. These are everyday prices, not sale prices. Prices are good overall but name brand items can be found at similar prices elsewhere if they are on sale or if a coupon is used.
-
Step 3
If you like selection, this is not the store for you since there is only 1 choice for any single product, their private labeled brands. It is obviously a no-frills place to shop but it is a great place to stock up on some commonly used items at a great savings.

on 1/24/2009 We use Aldi for most of our canned goods, cheap drinks and a few other things. It's not open the same hours as other stores but it's still worth it when we are able to go there.

on 12/2/2008 I use Aldi quite offten. Food is not that bad for the price you pay. Great idea to reduce grocery bills, I know I use it.
