Step 1
Use any or in combination of the suggestions below:
-
Step 2
Apple Cider Vinegar - Drink 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of a warm water several times daily. You may also gargle with the vinegar as needed. Apple cider vinegar act as an disinfectant.
-
Step 3
Buttermilk or Yogurt - Take 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon each hour, allowing to trickle down the throat. Do not drink any liguids for at least 30 minutes so that the buttermilk or yogurt's effect is not washed away. Good for early stages of sore throat, great for babies and children. Buttermilk and yogurt are natural antiseptics.
-
Step 4
Garlic and Onion - Chop, dice, or grate either, or combine both together for a tea or gargle taking 2-3 times a day. In a cup of hot water, mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of the vegetable with 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1-2 pinches of cayenne. Each works as an antiseptic.
-
Step 5
Sage - Make a tea to take, as well as using it for a gargle. Apply warm liquid herb with a cloth or directly to the neck.
