Things You'll Need:
- Approx 1 lb of sliced deli roast beef
- 1 Bell pepper
- 1/2 Sweet onion
- Medium non-stick frying pan
- vegetable oil for frying
- 1 pkg of egg roll wrappers
- 8 oz pkg of swiss cheese
- small frying pan or sauce pan
-
Step 1
First, take your frying pan and put one TBSP of vegetable oil in it. Next you will need to wash your bell pepper and slice it very thin so that it will cook faster, then put it in the frying pan. Next slice the onion and place it in the frying pan. Now you will add the roast beef. You should break up the roast beef a bit so that it is not stuck together. Turn the heat on medium heat. When the beef starts browning a little, add about 1/4 cup of water and let it cook until the peppers and onions are cooked well. (you may want to ad more water if that water cooks out before the peppers and onions are finished cooking).
-
Step 2
When the peppers and onions are finished, follow the directions on the egg roll wrappers and put the beef and pepper mix on the egg roll break off two pieces of swiss cheese about one inch by one inch and add in with the beef mix. Then roll up your egg roll and set it aside.
-
Step 3
Repeat steps until you have made all of the egg rolls that you can. Next you will need a small frying pan or small sauce pan to fry your eggrolls in. You do not need to fry more than two at a time because they may burn since they fry fast. Put about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a frying pan or small sauce pan and heat the grease to about 375 degrees. Put two egg rolls in and fry them, turn them and brown them on both sides and take them out and put them on a plate with a paper towel on the bottom to soak up the oil.
