Step 1
Starting out by trying a Beaded Ornament Kit. The kits include all of your supplies and everything you need. Also you will see how much fun it is to make these beauties. Kits can be found online or in your local craft stores.

Next go shopping, because you can quickly fall in love with this hobby. Stock up on supplies to make your own by visiting Hobby Lobby, Joann's, Pottery Barn, Garden Ridge Pottery, Michael's or online.

Choose several satin ornaments in your favorite colors.

Step 4
Buy different styles of beads. You will find bugle, faceted or try the bags of craft assorted glass beads.

Step 5
Buy short,long, plain and decorated push pins.

Step 6
Line up a small and large bead on a pin and stick the pin into the ornament. Repeat with a pattern to make a new design. Test it out and see how easy it can be.

Step 7
Use ribbon and even your old jewelry. The possibilities go on and on. Enjoy!
