So you write for eHow, Bukisa, Associated Content or another informational website. How do you write productively and meet your goals for the workday ? Here's one way to do just that.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check personal messages, notes, views and earnings in your first log on of the day. Taking care of these motivators for your writing success is an important part of writing productively the rest of the day.

  2. Step 2

Skim through the forums for new website information, questions that you can help answer, or problems that might be occurring within the site that might become an issue to your workday productivity. Limit your time in forums or you could find yourself there all day and get nothing else done!

  3. Step 3

Determine if you're going to write articles today. If not, it's important to at least do some internet research on future articles and put together some drafts. Organization of ideas, titles, and drafts in progress are very helpful for those days when writer's block is running rampant.

  4. Step 4

Organize a set period of time to find photo resources. Researching these on the internet can take a lot of time out of your day. Also, spend time researching search engine optimization and how to promote your article most effectively. After all, you wrote it to be read. The more exposure your article gets, the more views you will see.

  5. Step 5

Schedule at least one hour of your day to read, rate and comment on other's articles. You may want to save this for the end of your day. It can be a relaxing way to learn something new while acknowledging a fellow writer.
