Things You'll Need:
- Square scarf large enough to go around the neck.
-
Step 1
Choose a scarf large enough to go around your neck. This one works very nicely with a scarf with a contrasting solid edge. Also, a scarf with many colors looks fantastic made into this style.
-
Step 2
Loose KnotFold your scarf to make an oblong. If you use a scarf with the solid contrasting edge, fold with the ends to the outside. Make a simple loose knot at one end. (Keep the knot loose because you will be bringing the scarf back through this knot.)
-
Step 3
Accordion Pleated EndFold the other end into an accordion pleat. Leave enough scarf between the pleats and the knot to go around your neck.
-
Step 4
Colorful AccessoryWhile holding the pleated end, drape the scarf around your neck. Push the pleated end into the knot. Tighten the knot and fan out the pleats.
