There are many ways to tie a scarf such as Slip Knot, The Bib, Accordion Bow, Fake Bow, Flower Knot and this one the Pleated Drape.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Square scarf large enough to go around the neck.
  1. Step 1

Choose a scarf large enough to go around your neck. This one works very nicely with a scarf with a contrasting solid edge. Also, a scarf with many colors looks fantastic made into this style.

  2. Step 2
    Loose Knot

Fold your scarf to make an oblong. If you use a scarf with the solid contrasting edge, fold with the ends to the outside. Make a simple loose knot at one end. (Keep the knot loose because you will be bringing the scarf back through this knot.)

  3. Step 3
    Accordion Pleated End

Fold the other end into an accordion pleat. Leave enough scarf between the pleats and the knot to go around your neck.
