How to Remove Hairspray Buildup from Hair
Hairspray buildup can make hair very dull, heavy, and lifeless. If your hair has these characteristics and you use hairspray daily, you many simply have a buildup in your hair. Fortunately, there is a simple and inexpensive way to remove the buildup, that doesn't require buying an expensive shampoo designed to remove buildup. I have purchased these products, spent a lot of money, and frankly was not really happy with the results. When these products didn't satisfy me, I even headed to the beauty salon for a "professional" buildup remover, yet, $30 later, my hair was not in any better shape than it was before. Does this Spark an idea?

4. Depending on the amount of buildup in your hair, you can either apply shampoo/baking soda mixture to your hair as you would plain shampoo, work into a lather, and rinse. If your buildup is severe, you can add the mixture using a comb, and then proceed to comb through your hair, making sure the mixture covers all of your hair. Then rinse mixture out.
