Things You'll Need:
- Shampoo
- Baking Soda
- Comb
- Water
-
Step 1
1. Pour the desired amount of shampoo you would normally use into a small bowl.
-
Step 2
2. Add 1 tablespoon of Baking Soda to the shampoo.
-
Step 3
3. Mix the shampoo and baking soda together using a spoon until baking soda is completely mixed into the shampoo.
-
Step 4
4. Depending on the amount of buildup in your hair, you can either apply shampoo/baking soda mixture to your hair as you would plain shampoo, work into a lather, and rinse. If your buildup is severe, you can add the mixture using a comb, and then proceed to comb through your hair, making sure the mixture covers all of your hair. Then rinse mixture out.
-
Step 5
5. Style as usual. You should see new life and shine to your hair. Repeat as needed. Typically once a week will keep your hair from suffering extreme buildup.
