A guaranteed way to end all of the annoying calls is to actually pay your bill. You will be able to rest assured knowing the calls are over.

You can also call and speak with the bill collectors, many times they will work with you and even lower your payments or create a new payment schedule. For example if your car broke down and you need money to get car repairs you dont have to fret. If you call your loan institution tell then what happened and they will more than likely allow you to miss two or three car payments to get yourself together.

Oh my...A bill collector cannot by law disclose any information to you (the employer) on an employee (former or current). It is against the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. To make them stop, tell them they are violating the FDCPA by first disclosing personal information about an employee to you and secondly by continuing to call after being told not to. Tell them you will be contacting an attorney about their violations of the FDCPA and I guarantee the calls will stop. -

I ahve been being harrased by a bill collector calling my office for a person who no longer works here and has not for years. I have given them that information several times and told them many and I mean many times to stop calling and they still persist. The bill collector even asked me for my private number to contact me outside of buisness hours so now he not only asked for this prior employee but he is in a wasy stalking me.. How do I get rid of this annoyance???
