For many families, a baby's first Christmas is a big milestone. With the hustle and bustle of Christmas, it can be challenging to find the time to make baby's first Christmas memorable. Take the time to enjoy all your child's first experiences at Christmastime.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Spend time with family members and close family friends. Christmas is an excellent time for your new baby to bond with family members. Invite family over for a Holiday meal or a Christmas gathering. Share good food, laughs and love as you all enjoy the new baby. The gathering can be informal as long as you all have an enjoyable time.

  2. Step 2

Decorate your house with the new baby in mind. Have fun making your house a fun and festive display. Have a Christmas tree with colorful holiday decorations. Use bright and colorful holiday décor for the Holiday season. Of course, make safety your top priority when determining where you will place the Christmas tree and other decorations. Place decorations out of baby's reach.

  3. Step 3

Use your digital camera. You can save one hundred pictures or more on most digital cameras when using a memory card. Do not be stingy with the number of pictures you take before, during and even right after Christmas. Take plenty of shots of your baby. If you have other children, snap pictures of the baby enjoying his/her first Christmas with the other kids. You will also have fun taking pictures of your baby with friends and family who visit over the holiday season.

  4. Step 4

Save items from baby's first Christmas for a scrapbook or memory box. You might not get a chance to work on the scrapbook right away so be sure to put the keepsakes items in a safe location. Save pictures, scraps of wrapping paper from baby's first gifts and any other cute memos that will always remind you of your baby's first Christmas.

  5. Step 5

Enjoy Christmas music, movies and stores with your new baby. This will be extra fun if you have other children. Read children's Christmas stories to the baby and siblings. Enjoy Christmas music throughout the holiday season. Watch at least one or two Christmas stories and movies in the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  6. Step 6

Remember the meaning of Christmas as you enjoy your new bundle of joy. Take time to relax with your new baby during the hectic holiday season. Sit back and enjoy your Christmas tree while holding your child. Go for a drive to see some Christmas lights. Take time for your favorite holiday pastimes while enjoying your new baby.
