How to Use Liquid Ice Clay Bar on a Wet Car
It takes hours to get a car perfectly clean and to buff it to a brilliant shine, but it only takes seconds for it to get dirty all over again. With this in mind, it pays to wash and polish your car in the most time-efficient manner possible, affording you the time you need to wash it more frequently. Turtle Wax's Liquid Ice Clay Bar is a product designed to help you do just that; you'll get the same superior polish and shine that a regular clay bar offers, but you can get it in a fraction of the time.

Instructions

-
1
Pour some of the Turtle Wax Ice Car Wash into a bucket and spray in some water from the hose to create a sudsy mixture.
-
2
Use sponges and the car wash solution to wash the entire exterior of the car thoroughly. As you come across areas that are very dirty, such as bird droppings, crushed bugs and tree sap, rub them vigorously with the sponges until they come completely clean.
-
-
3
Rinse off the car with a hose. Make sure all of the suds are completely rinsed away.
-
4
Shake the Liquid Ice Clay Bar well and squirt a small amount onto the clean, wet car. Massage the solution into the auto body one section at a time, using the small blue pad that came with the solution. Watch closely as you rub; you may be able to see the remaining deposits loosening and lifting off of the car, making it easier to tell when you're done.
-
5
Continue your way around the entire car, applying the Liquid Ice Clay Bar one section at a time. Try to keep your application areas relatively small, such as a single door or half of the hood, for example.
-
6
Rinse the Liquid Ice Clay Bar off of the car thoroughly using a hose. Dry the car with auto drying cloths. You can now apply a polish or simply call it a day.

Turtle Wax Ice products are generally faster and easier to use than their non-liquid equivalents, but they also typically cost a little bit more.
Always follow these instructions and those printed on the Turtle Wax Liquid Ice Clay Bar packaging. Improper use of any clay bar products can damage the paint and finish on a vehicle.
