How to Clean a Scarab Bracelet

A scarab bracelet is a design created in the Egyptian culture. It is a stone made from a beetle. The stones are made into several types of jewelry and accessories. These delicate works of art need to be maintained often. Using abrasive cleaners can damage the material and leave scratches on your scarab bracelet.

Things You'll Need

• Bowl of hot water 2 soft washcloths Formula 409 Natural Stone Cleaner or equivalent

Instructions

1. Dip one of the washcloths into the hot water. Wring out the excessive water. Gently rub the scarab bracelet with the cloth. Removing any excess dirt and grim is important before using a stone cleaner.

2. Wring out the washcloth, then spray the cleaner on it twice. Rub the cloth over and around the bracelet until you see a shine. Repeat this step as needed until the dirt and grim has gone and you have a bright shine.

3. Use your second washcloth to dry the scarab bracelet completely.
