Sitting in traffic has become a necessary evil when we need to get to and from our jobs. While our main job is to navigate through the streets, we can also take this time to emotionally take a break

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

One of the most obvious ways to pass the time is to listen to the radio. If you are into a certain type of music this is a great time to relax and focus on just driving. Using the new HD radios, new stations are available to listen to and try. This includes more talk stations and alternate music.

  2. Step 2

Educate yourself by listening to a book on tape. It could be as simple as learning Spanish or more complex subject. The idea of listening and repeating information while driving can pass the time quite quickly while learning. And nobody will hear you if you mess up!

  3. Step 3

Talk on the phone. This can be a special time to talk with those you love or perhaps follow up with someone you need to contact. If you do decide to talk a bit, then make sure you use the headset so you keep your hands on the wheel.

  4. Step 4

Use a tape recorder to talk out your lists, words, and ideas. This is a great way to brainstorm and record your ideas. Once you have the tape you can easily translate it into words by plugging it into your computer dragon naturally speaking.

  5. Step 5

Carpool to talk face to face with your family. Make appointments to have your family members meet you and ride how. Not only does this say gas, it gives you a chance to catch up.
