You want to spend time with your child butdont look forward to playing like a child we as adults often close our minds to pretend play because we get so caught up in the real world we forget how fun playing house or pretending to be batman can be. This article is to remind you how fun it was to be a child . also by playing with your child you will enhance the closeness you have to your child

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Open mind
  • Props (like sheets to build forts )
  • Time play for at least an hour
  • your child
  1. Step 1

    First and only rule don't be your child's parent when playing be there playmate for once . Unless Of course they are misbehaving .

  2. Step 2

    Gather props like hats or makeup or sheets things you can have fun with
    You can use pots and pans to pretend you are working at a restaurant or get a feather duster and let your child pretend to be your maid. Just remember in pretend you can do anything you want.

  3. Step 3

    Let your child lead you ask them what they want play even if you aren't sure you will enjoy it you will never know unless you try and Be sure to offer your child suggestions on different ways to play

  4. Step 4

    Have Fun don't think about how much you are not enjoying playing think about how much you are enjoying playing
    Just let yourself be a kid again and believe me you will have fun!
