  1. Step 1

    Lavender is known as Lavendula Officinalis. It is cultivated in France, Spain, England and Tasmania. It is completely scented with a herbaceous, sweet, floral and balsamic wood undertone. One of the few essential oils that covers all the aromatic spectrum and the most versatile essential oil around today. It is a must have for your first aide kit.

  2. Step 2

    Lavender oil relieves sinus congestion, respiratory infections, allergies and anything that has to do with relieving sinus pressure. You can apply directly to your skin and directly from the bottle. You do not have to worry about precautions, and a little oil goes a long way.

    You can rub it on your temples to relieve headaches or simply inhale it. You can add it to your bath. Make sure the bath is full with warm water then apply three to 6 drops of lavender for indigestion, congestion or digestion problems. When applying for sinus conditions add a drop on each side of the nostril then inhale directly from the bottle breathing slowly for 10 seconds on each nostril. Try this 3 or 4 times a day.

    Lavender oil can be used with essential oils such as, bergamot, chamomile, jasmine, patchouli, rosemary and Ylang-ylang. Other uses for Lavender oil are: nervous tension, depression, stress, spasms, cramps and irritability.
    You can apply it to the skin for sun burns, acne, eczema and dermatitis. These are just a few of the many uses of Lavender essential oil.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep your Pure Essential Oils in a dark cool place otherwise it will evaporate.
  • Only apply 1 to 3 drops at a time to the skin. A little goes a long way.
  • You can even apply a drop or two to the throat for throat irritations.
  • Apply to the forehead between brow or third eye chakra for clarity and focus.
  • Apply to temples to relieve headaches.
  • Add three drops of Lavender essential oil to any 1/2 oz bottle of your favorite shampoo, conditioners, body cream or soaps. Great for hair and skin.
  • Keep in cool dark place or it will evaporate. Pure oils must keep there freshness.
