Something on your desktop you'd like to save as an image? Need a screen shot? Here is a simple way of doing it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First decide what it is that you are taking a picture of on your desk top. Minimize everything else that you don't want in the picture and set it up as you wish.

  2. Step 2

Pressing the key once, press print screen. You'll see it usually at the top of your keyboard.

  3. Step 3

Open your photo editing software. Paint is usually a good tool for this. Others can be used however. It just depends on what you will be doing with the image.

  4. Step 4

Press paste. The image should immediately show up in the program.

  5. Step 5

Go to file and save as. You may want to change the image type to jpg in the process, but you don't have to. Name the file and store it where you want to store it. Then you're done!
