How to Wash Neoprene Sheets
"Neoprene" is the trade name for a synthetic rubber-like, form-fitting product which is resistant to water breakdown. This durable material is used to manufacture many waterproof items such as waders, wetsuits and baby bibs.
Neoprene is typically sold by the foot, sheet or roll. Sheets are generally 50 by 80 inches. Most Neoprene items are machine washable, or can be washed by hand. As with most fabrics, the more gently Neoprene is laundered, the longer it will last.

Place the Neoprene sheet in an old pillowcase, and seal it with a loose knot at the open end. The pillowcase will provide an added measure of protection to the Neoprene.

Set the washing machine to a delicate cycle, and use a cold wash and cold rinse to launder the sheet. Use a gentle detergent. It's fine to add other delicate garments to balance the load.

Remove the sheet from the pillowcase following laundering. Hang the sheet up to dry it. Do not use the dryer.
