How to Get Insider Information on Eastern Michigan University Sports

  1. Step 1

View the Scout Eastern Michigan site (see Resources below) if you want to be a member of a site that requires a monthly payment to access its features. Scout Eastern Michigan provides insider information on the EMU program with emphasis on basketball and football and recruiting efforts for both sports. It also features a message board system where users can go to speak with other EMU fans about games, players, tickets and much more. This site is part of the Scout Media network.

  2. Step 2

Access the Eastern Echo site (see Resources below) to view content that comes from the Eastern Michigan student newspaper. This site is the online version of the campus newspaper and therefore has information that you otherwise would not get to access unless you were on campus. This site features sports news that is very general but provides a good background for what is going on in the world of sports at EMU.

  3. Step 3

Access EMU Eagles (see Resources below) for online features directly from the Eastern Michigan athletic department. This site features the most accurate information on the Internet regarding EMU athletics. EMU Eagles doesn't feature any news on recruiting. It does boast information on the lesser talked about sports such as swimming and diving and track and field, though. All content on this site is free of charge.
