Things You'll Need:

How to Get Insider Information on University of Akron Athletics

  1. Step 1

Check out www.ZipsReport.com if you want to be a member of a site that requires a monthly payment to access its features. It features a message board system where users can go to speak with other Zips fans about games, players, recruiting, tickets and much more. This site is part of the Scout Media network.

  2. Step 2

Access Go Zips (see Resources below) for online features directly from the Akron athletic department. This site features the most accurate information on the Internet regarding Zips athletics. Unlike the aforementioned sites, however, this site doesn't feature any news on recruiting. It does boast information on the lesser talked about sports such as swimming and diving and track and field, though. All content on this site is free of charge.

  3. Step 3

Access the website www.Ohio.com to view content from the Akron Beacon Journal - a state newspaper that covers Akron athletics. This site is the online version of the newspaper and users get all of the same information that goes to print everyday in the Akron community.

Tips & Warnings
