This is a really easy scrapbook that can be use in many ways. The end result will be a small scrapbook that has pockets and flaps to "hide" treasures. This book can also be used in nature studies and homeschooling. As a scrapbook, it could be used to showcase a birthday or a holiday. It could also be a gift. For homeschooling, it could be used to showcase a field trip, a science project or even a geography study of other countries. For nature studies it could be used in a year around study of a tree, to showcase a nature walk, to store pressed flowers or to store drawings and poetry.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-3 lunch size paper bags
  • hole puncher
  • string
  • glue
  • scrapbook embellishments
  1. Step 1

Take 2-3 lunch size paper bags, stack them together facing the same way with the folded flap on top and to the left.

  2. Step 2

Fold the lunch bags in half. Make sure you have a smooth side on top.

  3. Step 3

Add 2 holes to the left side while folded.

  4. Step 4

Tie a string through the holes to hold it together.

  5. Step 5

Decorate! You can use pictures, poems, scrapbook embellishments (stickers, patterned paper, die- cuts), pressed flowers, leaves, drawings or whatever else your imagination comes up with.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't forget to tuck small tags, pictures or other treasures into the "pockets" of this little book.
  • Don't forget to decorate under the "flaps".
  • Paper lunch bags are NOT archival safe!!!! Please do not use original photos in this scrapbook.
