An easy storage idea for your kitchen is also a cheap one. Use plastic ice bins purchased at the dollar store to organize your kitchen items.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • plastic ice bins
  • time
  1. Step 1

Clean out your kitchen cabinets. Throw away the trash. Give away the items you do not use but are still useful.

  2. Step 2

Sort through the items that remain. Group these according to use. For example, put all of the food decorating items together: sprinkles, food coloring, icing tips.

  3. Step 3

Estimate the number of ice bins you will need based on the number of groups you have. Purchase these bins at the local dollar store. Make sure the bins will fit in your cabinet. You may have to measure!

  4. Step 4

Designate an ice bin for each group. You may have more than one bin for a larger group.

  5. Step 5

You can label these for even easier reference.

  6. Step 6

Enjoy the organization. When you need spicy ingredients, pull out the bin that houses your peppers, chili spice, etc. Use what you need, and then return the bin to the cabinet. Easy and organized.
