Step 1
Don’t be a support groupie. Don’t just sit around and let him talk for hours and hours about the girl he’s crushing on. Sure you’re getting to spend time with him. But it’s not really worth it because as soon as she texts him, he all of a sudden has to leave to hang out with her.

Step 2
Don’t bash his crush. If there’s one thing guys don’t like, it’s when you talk bad about their crush. So, don’t do it! Plain and simple. And have you ever noticed that no matter how bad he claims she is, he still can’t wait to be around her? So, you have to ask yourself, if she’s that horrible, why does he like her so much? She must not be that bad of a person, after all.

Step 3
Live your life. Your life shouldn’t be centered around waiting for him to want to hang out. Don’t always be available to hang out with him. Sure he’ll act upset that you weren’t there for him when he really needed someone to talk to about the current state of his crush, but that would mean that you were being a support groupie, and that’s a violation of step #1!

Step 4
Relax! Chill out! Don’t get all freaked out when you look across the room and see him talking to “that girl”. If you need to leave the room, go ahead. You don’t have to watch them like each other. But just remember, it’s not the end of the world.

Don't undergo dramatic transfomations to be the girl you think he wants. Stay true to yourself. So, his crush has purple hair and is a star wars fanatic? Resist the urge to dye your hair purple and constantly eHow the term “how to be a stars wars fanatic”.

Step 6
Don’t blame his crush. Don’t take it out on her, and do your best not to be mean to her. After all, it’s probably not her fault that he likes her. And would you want someone being mean to you just because a guy liked you? No way!
