Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Computer Mouse
- Q-Tip
- Rubbing Alcohol
-
Step 1
Before you begin cleaning the mouse, turn off the computer. Once the computer is disconnected, unplug the mouse from the back of the computer.
-
Step 2
Flip the computer mouse over so it is upside down. Once you see the backside of the mouse, remove the outer circular plate.
-
Step 3
Once the plate is removed, remove the mouse ball from the computer mouse. To clean the mouse ball, get a clean towel with some soap and water. Gently rub the ball around on the towel.
-
Step 4
To clean the inside of the mouse, take a q-tip or soft cloth and slightly wet it with a touch of rubbing alcohol. Go around the edges inside the computer mouse, where the ball sits.
