Things You'll Need:
- time clock program, toys for all ages, a system
-
Step 1
You need to child proof your home if not already done. Every little thing counts. Drawers latches, fridge latch and other safety items as needed. In some states you are required special items like a fire extinguisher, thermometer in your fridge. You just need to check with your state.
-
Step 2
Once your "work place" is in order, you need to check with your state on the laws for childcare. Get all your certifications and licenses that you will need to attain. If you have kids of your own it is really nice to have some of these certifications for the just in case times of childhood.
-
Step 3
ADVERTISE!!! There are so many different ways to do this. Local newspapers, bulletin boards, free classifieds online, and word of mouth. Tell everyone you know about your new career! Yes, career!! I have found that free classifieds get a lot of hits per day. Just to name a popular on is Craigslist.org. awesome site. You would be surprised that gossip would actually be good for you!
-
Step 4
Once you have the number of children you want. A computer program that keeps track of everyone's time will be your best friend. A free one off the internet is Easy time control Free. There are different versions of it but the free one will be all you need for an in home provider.
-
Step 5
A system for you day. Kids don't know what to do without a sceduale. Naps, playtime, lunch, and snacks. This is so important for YOU too! If you have infants you need to rotate naps. Otherwise you will go crazy.

on 3/29/2009 godinluc- that's really interesting, but I think it's wrong of you to join eHow just so you can leave the same comment on every single article written about toys, just to advertise your discovery toys business. Please write your own articles instead of spamming.
