Step 1
Coconut Oil. Drinking a few tablespoons a day may successfully treat your infection or at the very least, improve your condition. Be sure to add this to your treatment plan. In areas where coconuts are part of everyday meals, incidences of yeast infections are very small.
-
Step 2
Garlic. Garlic is a natural antifungal. Eating crushed raw cloves will significantly reduce your yeast infection if not wipe it out completely. Adding garlic to your treatment of your infection will be very helpful. Some women insert crushed garlic into the vaginal opening with a cheese cloth or other cloth. If you decide to go this route, please use caution. Some garlic may be left behind unintentionally and may cause other problems including irritation.
-
Step 3
Vinegar. Yeast does not like acidic environments. After the infection has cleared up, douche with vinegar and water once a week for three weeks. This will help get rid of any residual yeast that may not have cleared up and will prevent another episode. (If your doctor has recommended that you never use a douche, do not do this step)

Step 4
Avoid Sugar. Yeast thrives on sugar. Avoid sweets whenever possible. This includes fruits and juices as well as baked goods and candies.
-
Step 5
Probiotics. Probiotics are a wonderful addition to everyone's life. It creates a balance in the intestines. These probiototics are good bacteria that help fight over growth of yeast. You can get probiotics in yogurts or vitamin supplements. Kyo-Adophilis and Acidophilis are easily found in any health food store and many drug stores.
