Things You'll Need:
- Aspiration
- Time
- Friends
-
Step 1
There are two types of students; ones attend city colleges and others that attend a university. Some of our students take classes and then go home; others are in campuses and stay at their dorm. For all of you, there is so much to do, that you will be surprise. Students that go home can get a part time job, for example be a babysitter. There are many parents as for myself that have to pay someone to pick their children from school at 2:30pm. Some parents work a fulltime schedule and they come home around 5:30pm to 6:00pm. So imagine you pick the child up from Monday to Friday from 2:30pm until 6:00pm that's three hours and a half a day, multiply by five is equal to 17 hours and a half. If they pay you $10 dollars per hour you will be getting a check for $175.00 dollars.

Step 2
Speak to your neighbors and tell them you are looking for a part time job. Make yourself available. You can offer to clean houses around your neighborhood. You can do this on the weekend or during the week. Sometimes women are too busy with their schedule and don't have time to clean their home young people have so much energy that they can do that and get pay for it. Walk the dogs for your neighbors or simply water their plants. There is a lot that you can do while you are at home after college is finished for the day.

Step 3
There are other jobs available to those students that are attending classes at campuses and have to stay in. Visit the financial aid office and register to do work-study. A program that offers the students the opportunity to work in one of the many offices a college has. As a work study student you get experience, meet new people and also have time to do your homework. Another form of earning some money is by applying to become a tutor within your school learning center. Remember there are many students that are smart than others, and if you are one of them, why don't you put it to use. Become a tutor of your classmates and earn money while doing it.
-
Step 4
Search online, there are many web pages as for example www.ehow.com that can help you to earn money while helping others. This web page helps you to earn money but also allowed you to meet new people, try it and earn money with your articles.
Last but not least, remember that some of your friends don't have a notebook and you do. Offer to type their papers and make some money out of it. Rent your notebook for an hour and make some extra cash. Hope that these will help you on your journey to success. Good luck.

on 6/5/2009 Very good article, although it is much easier said than done. Work study seems nearly impossible for me.

on 5/12/2009 Nice article on How to Earn Money to Pay Tuition. Work-study should be their first choice, followed by off campus work. My daughter maxed out her work-study and then babysat for a local lady.
