Things You'll Need:
- Cork Board Acrylic Paints Paint Brush Ruler Pencil
-
Step 1
Purchase a round piece of cork board at least 2 feet across. The board should be a brown or tan color with no writing on it.
-
Step 2
Draw a circle around your cork board three inches from the edge. Paint the area black from the edge to the circle. Use an acrylic paint. Let it dry.
-
Step 3
Use a beige paint to add numbers around the perimeter. Paint each number on the black starting with 20 in the top center. Continue painting numbers in this order; 1, 18, 4, 13, 6, 10, 15, 2, 17, 3, 19, 7, 16, 8, 11, 14, 9, 12, and 5.
-
Step 4
Make sure that the number 3 is at the bottom center, the number 11 is far left, and the number 6 is far right. Space the remaining numbers out evenly to ensure proper placement.
-
Step 5
Create a small black circle in the center of your dart gun board. Alternate between black and red acrylic to paint a 3-inch by 1/2-inch section under each number.
-
Step 6
Draw a line from one edge of the three inch section to the center. Draw a line from the other edge of the section also to the center. This creates a long triangular shape. Do this for every number. Alternate the colors of the triangle shapes, black and tan.
-
Step 7
Make another circle in the center of the dart gun board equal distance between the edge of the board and the center. Break it up into sections that correspond to the sections below the numbers. Paint the smaller sections the same color pattern.
-
Step 8
Attach a heavy duty picture frame hook to the back of the cork board and hang the board on a nail in a spacious area. If you are out in the wilderness, set the board up against a large rock.
