Toilet paper holders are very simple to install, being just a couple of pieces. These things get a lot of daily use, and it's important to know how to get them installed right or else they'll just fall off the wall in a day or so.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Drill Screwdriver Pencil Hammer
  1. Step 1

Purchase a toilet paper holder. You can get these at your local hardware store, and they generally come with any mounting hardware you'll need.

  2. Step 2

Unpack the holder and find the mounting bracket. Put the mounting bracket against the wall where you want to install the holder, and make pencil marks through it where the screw holes appear.

  3. Step 3

Drill through the pencil marks, making sure the drill bit you use is slightly smaller than the wall anchors that come with the toilet paper holder.

  4. Step 4

Push the wall anchors that come with the toilet paper holder into the wall. If you need to, very lightly tap these into place with a hammer.

  5. Step 5

Mount the mounting bracket using the included screws and your screwdriver. Tighten these as much as possible to secure the hold.

  6. Step 6

Slide your toilet paper holder onto the mounting bracket. Secure it into place, using the tiny screw that usually appears on the underside of the holder itself.
