1
Choose a location. You can have your Simpsons-themed birthday party just about anywhere. If you do not have room in your home or backyard, consider renting a venue: You can turn your favorite restaurant or pub into "Moe's Bar." Get everything in writing if you go the rental route, and make sure you have plenty parking spaces for all of your guests.
-
2
Make the guest list. Determine who will enjoy a Simpsons-themed birthday party. The number of guests will be greatly affected by your budget. Invite only a few close friends and family members. Of course, if it is in the budget, invite everyone you can think of. If you a renting a venue, keep the room capacity in mind. Decide if you want to send invitations. You can make them yourself or buy them at a discount or party-supply store in your area, where Simpsons designs are often among the most popular varieties.

3
Create the menu. Name the foods you serve to fit the Simpsons theme--like "Marge's Meatballs," "Bart Burgers" and "Lisa Lemonade." The birthday cake can be in the image of the guest of honor's favorite Simpsons character.
-
4
Decorate with the theme in mind. Use miniature saxophones to hold party favors. Put cut-outs of the characters around the room. You can even turn your home into the Simpsons' living room.
-
5
Plan the entertainment. Have a "Simpsons Impression Contest" to see who can best imitate the characters. Mount a trivia contest to see which of your guests knows the most about The Simpsons. Invite the guests to do the limbo while wearing Marge Simpson wigs. (The wigs are available at discount and costume stores.)
