You can download and test the Opera web browser by visiting Opera's official website and going to the download page.

Instructions

      Open your current web browser by double-clicking on its desktop icon, or by accessing your Start menu and searching through your program files.

      Navigate your web browser to the official Opera website. (You can find the URL in Resources.)

      Hover your mouse pointer over the "Download" button at the top of the screen to bring up a new drop-down menu. Click on the "Opera Desktop" option to bring up the download page.

      Select the language in which you want the installation instructions to be displayed by clicking on the appropriate language in the radio-box options. Then choose a download location that is closest to your country or state.

      Click on the large green button marked "Download" to initiate the file download. Specify the location to which you want the file to be downloaded when the download prompt pops up on your screen.

      Open and run the installation file once it has finished downloading to complete the installation process.
