Instructions

    • 1

Clear out your car trunk and strip off a section of the carpet so that you can attach the subwoofer box right to the metal floor of the car.

    • 2

Measure the subwoofer box, then create a template of the bottom with a piece of poster board. Draw the dimensions of the subwoofer box on the poster board and cut it out. Double-check the template by holding it to the bottom of the subwoofer.

    • 3

Place the template in the car and draw a line to establish where the box will go.

    • 4

Drill holes for the subwoofer box brackets into the floor of the car. Install them using the hardware that comes with the subwoofer.

    • 5

Cut a section of sound foam to the size of the subwoofer box and glue it to the metal floor of the car over the brackets. Cut away any excess and be sure that the brackets aren't completely covered by the foam. If they are, trim off sections from the corners until you are sure that the brackets have enough clearance to hold the box.

    • 6

Slide the subwoofer box into place on top of the foam, then secure the brackets to the box using screws or the supplied hardware.

    • 7

Connect the subwoofer box to your amplifier using 12-gage wire. On most boxes you need to wire to both channels, or you can bridge the amplifier to mono and deliver double power to your box.
