Aztec fountains are a type of chocolate fountain that are popular for entertaining. The chocolate flows elegantly down from tier to tier. Guests can dip fondue forks with fruit or deserts into the cascading chocolate fountain for a delicious treat.

Things You'll Need:

  • Stainless steel auger Desert fountain motor 3 central tube sections 4 tiers of various sizes Callebaut Belgian fountain chocolate
  1. Step 1

Purchase the parts for your Aztec chocolate fountain from a kitchenware store. You will want stainless steel material so you do not have to worry about rust. The motor needs to be designed for desert fountains. The largest tier should fit the auger when turned bowl side up.

  2. Step 2

Place the motor inside the auger. Position the largest tier with the bowl side pointing upward on the rim of the auger.

  3. Step 3

Insert the first central tube section through the bottom tier and attach it to the motor. The second-largest tier fits on top of the central tube with the bowl facing downward.

  4. Step 4

Repeat the process with the next two central tube sections and tiers. Line up all the pieces so the fountain is symmetrical.

  5. Step 5

Plug in the auger and the motor. Add the fountain chocolate. The auger will melt the chocolate and the motor will pump it to the top tier where it will cascade back down into the auger.
