How to Create Computer Desktop Prank

This article will teach you how to create a computer prank. The prank creates what seems to be a folder that can not be deleted.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer

1. 
   Clear desktop

   The first step in this prank is to remove everything from your desktop. (this will keep your prank bug free in case someone where to move a different icon)

2. 
   Create a Folder

   Create a folder on your desktop in a prominent place. Title the folder whatever you like, the more obnoxious the better. You want to draw attention to the folder.

3. 
   Take screen Shot

   Now you need to take a screen shot of your computer, to do this on a PC press "Prt Scr" on your keyboard. The print screen button copies the image of your screen onto your clipboard. Now open MS paint and type "ctrl + v" on your keyboard. Save the file.

4. 
   Set it as background

   Now right click on your desktop and and go to properties, change your desktop background to the file you created in step 3. Now delete the file that is the background to erase all evidence of the file.

5. 
   restore your desktop

   You are done. Feel free to add whatever files you would like to your desktop. As you will see the obnoxious file you created looks just like any other folder, Yet it can not be selected or deleted.

Tips & Warnings

• Close all windows when taking the screen shot
• When using a mac make sure the dock is down
