Are you irritated by those pesky shave bumps that appear after you shave? We all know they aren't fun. Here is a way to rid yourself of those itchy, red shave bumps forever.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • razor
  • moisturizing shave gel
  • water
  • lotion
  1. Step 1

First, wet to-be-shaved skin with ample amounts of water. This softens up the skin and the hairs, making it easier to shave.

  2. Step 2

Next, apply a rather thick layer of shaving gel/cream. Try to use one that contains a moisturizer like Vitamin E. This will help moisturize your skin and make it healthier looking after shaving. Afterall, shaving tends to dry skin.

  3. Step 3

Then, using a razor with a brand new razor blade shave in the direction of hair growth. For example, if you are shaving your legs shave towards the bottom of the bathtub.

  4. Step 4

When you're finished shaving the whole area that you intended on shaving, shave it all over again but this time against the direction of hair growth. Reapply shave gel if necessary.

  5. Step 5

    Then, rinse skin and dry.

  6. Step 6

Finally, apply ample amounts of lotion to shaved area. Be sure to rub it all in.

  7. Step 7

Enjoy your softly, bump-free shaven skin!

Tips & Warnings
  • Shave at least 3 times a week.
  • Be sure to change razor blade at least once every two weeks.
  • Razors with three or more blades work best.
  • Try to avoid using the disposable razors.
  • With shaving there is always the risk of cutting yourself. So use caution. Don't press too hard.
