Tie a Desert Scarf

This article explains how to tie a desert scarf in the hipster style.

Instructions

Step 1

Buy a desert scarf at your local hipster store. A desert scarf is much larger than a normal scarf. It looks like a big piece of fabric and usually has frayed ends. Urban Outfitters is a good place to get one.
Step 2

Fold the scarf in half to form a square like shape.
Step 3

Fold the square shaped scarf diagnolly so that it resembles a triangle shape. It may not look like a perfect triangle but its triangular.
Step 4

With the tip of the triangle facing downwards, tie the scarf around your neck (kind of like you would tie a bandana around your neck). Depending on how long you want the scarf to hang, you can tie it tighter (a shorter look) or hang it loose (longer look).
Step 5

Tuck the ends of the scarf underneath the front of the scarf.
