How to Tie a Desert Scarf

This article explains how to tie a desert scarf in the hipster style.

1. Buy a desert scarf at your local hipster store. A desert scarf is much larger than a normal scarf. It looks like a big piece of fabric and usually has frayed ends. Urban Outfitters is a good place to get one.

2. 

   Fold the scarf in half to form a square like shape.

3. 

   Fold the square shaped scarf diagnolly so that it resembles a triangle shape. It may not look like a perfect triangle but its triangular.

4. With the tip of the triangle facing downwards, tie the scarf around your neck (kind of like you would tie a bandana around your neck). Depending on how long you want the scarf to hang, you can tie it tighter (a shorter look) or hang it loose (longer look).

5. Tuck the ends of the scarf underneath the front of the scarf.
