Break out the bacon. I like a good maple flavored bacon in the morning.

Find a good pot with a matching cover and place the bacon in it. Make sure bacon lies flat across the bottom. It is alright if the bacon is a bit too big long for the bottom of the pan as it will shrink as it cooks.

Cover the pot and allow the bacon to cook at a low to medium-low setting. The cover will prevent grease from splattering all over your stove stop. Cooking on a lower heat setting will prevent you bacon from burning.
Check bacon frequently and remove from heat when you think it is cooked to your satisfaction. You'll want to flip the bacon at least once during the cooking process. -
