Wash and Style Curly Hair

The hair world we live in does not revolve around styling curly hair. Each curly girl may have a different hair pattern, but each can benefit from this style routine.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Cut

OK, so you say you have curls and you don't know what to do with them. Here is some advice for how to style those beautiful curls. The first step is to love and accept your curls no matter how loose, tight, dry or oily your curls are love and accept them. Also, make sure you treat your unique curls to a nice hair cut. A nice hair cut is the first step to healthy and beautiful hair. I suggest you find a stylist who has curly hair. Sometimes there are also hair salons which specialize in curls. Also, if you see a fellow curly girl with beautiful hair ask her who does her hair.

  2. Step 2

    Shampoo

Now, you have a good cut. The next step is maintaining your curls. Usually, curly hair is dry. So, most curly girls can use a moisturizing shampoo. You do not need a lot of shampoo. A little goes a long way.

  3. Step 3

    Condition

Every time you wash, you need to condition. I recommend a deep conditioner every time. A conditioner that you have to leave on for 2-5 minutes while you shower. The best deep conditioners are the protein and keratin reconstructers. They make your hair really shiny and healthy.
Do not towel dry hair when done. Lightly squeeze water out of hair do not twist hair. You want the hair to be wet so it can better receive the hair product.

  4. Step 4

    Comb out and Moose

Be sure to use a wide tooth comb when combing out your hair. Separate hair into about three sections. Apply moose to hair evenly.

  5. Step 5

    Flip and Dry

Finally, flip your head over. Scrunch your curls from the ends. Flip back and let dry.

  6. Step 6

    Sleep

At night you can pull your hair up into a loose ponytail on the top of your head. In the morning, let hair out give a few shakes, and go.

Tips & Warnings
  • Unless your hair is oily, you do not need to wash curly hair every day
  • You can just spray hair with a little Leave in Conditioner the next day apply a little product flip and dry
  • You can also just rinse hair in the shower instead of shampooing again.
