How to make Chicken Croquettes that are out of this world for the Holidays.

  1. Step 1

    How about turning ordinary "Chicken Croquettes" into an extraordinary Meal. What you will need is: 1-2 lbs of cooked Boneless Chicken Pieces. I Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Salt, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 Cup Heavy Cream, 1/2 Cup Melted Butter, 4 sticks of diced Celery, 1 Onion Diced, 1 Cup of bread Crumbs, 2 Eggs, 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil, 1/2 Cup of Graded Romano Cheese.

  2. Step 2

    Cooked Chicken Pieces in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove Chicken, let cool. In large mixing bowl combine Eggs, Cream, Garlic Powder, Salt, Pepper, Melted Butter, Celery, Onions etc. Break Chicken into Small Pieces add to mix. Add about 1-2 Tablespoons of Bread Crumbs to mix. When everything is well mixed, roll into med sized balls, just like if you were making meat balls. Then you want to roll croquette in bread crumbs using a flat dish, after croquetets are covered with bread crumbs, Have a skilled ready with the Vegetable Oil already hot, add rolled Croquettes to oil, cook each side of croquette about 5-8 minutes. Remove from skillet drain on paper towel, serve.
    You can serve the Croquettes over mashed potatoes with Chicken Gravy. Also, you can add fresh parsley as a garnish to the finished product.

  3. Step 3

    Your finished product will look as delicious as it will taste. Chicken Croquettes are really not hard to make at all. Home aide Croquettes can not begin to compare to anything you buy frozen or at a restaurant. You can also make Turkey Croquettes following the same recipe, only substitute the Chicken with Turkey.
