  • 16-oz. can refried beans
  • Small package of taco seasoning
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 4.5-oz.-can canned chopped (or fresh) green chiles
  • 2 c. shredded bagged lettuce
  • 2 c. shredded bagged Mexican or cheddar cheese
  • Small or medium diced tomato
  • 2.25-oz.-can black olives (optional)
  • 4.5-oz.-jar of salsa (optional)

      Mix the taco seasoning and green chiles with the refried beans in a bowl, using a wooden spoon. Spread evenly over the bottom of your serving platter or baking dish.
