Step 1
First thing you need to do is take the stuffing out of the teddy bear, before you wash it. You can do this yourself by undoing some of the stiching and at teh end sewing it back up. If you can't undue the stiching yourself, you can take it to a Build-a-Bear location and they do it for you.

Step 2
Then without the stuffing, put the teddy bear into a pillow case. Tie the pillow case closed with the teddy bear inside. Put the pillow case which has the teddy bear inside, into the washing machine and wash under delicate wash.

Step 3
After the washing is done. Hang the teddy bear to dry. I wouldn't recommend the dryer.

Step 4
When teddy is dry, insert stuffing back into the bear and stich back. You could visit a local Build-a-Bear for stiching and new stuffing.
