Things You'll Need:
- Silver fabric
- Silver and clear ornaments
- Glass bowls or goblets
- Silver beads
- Christmas decorations in silver or white
-
Step 1
Take silver fabric and drape it over the entire fireplace mantel. Make sure the edges of the silver fabric fall over the edge of the fireplace mantel neatly.
-
Step 2
Place cream tulips in a frosted white vase or a silver vase and place on the mantel.
-
Step 3
Fill several glass goblets or bowls with silver beads or balls. These can be found in the Christmas decorations or in the craft store in the jewelry area.
-
Step 4
Take a strand of silver or white beads and drape it across the fireplace mantel so that it goes in and out of the other decorations on the mantel.
-
Step 5
Find any other glass or silver Christmas ornaments or figurines that you like such as stars, angels, bells, or snowmen and use them to fill in the empty spots on the fireplace mantel.

on 11/12/2008 What a pretty idea. I have an aunt who always chooses a color theme and her house is so beautiful at Christmas time. Thanks for showing us how it's done. *****
