In our world today, our skin is exposed to all kinds of chemicals and detergents. The constant exposure causes damage to our skin and the symptoms of itchy and irritated hands and feet becomes manifest in many people all over the globe. This simple recipe of natural oils and cream will help alleviate these unwanted symptoms and leave your skin healthy and vibrant like the way it should be. Furthermore, it is very good to know what exactly is in your cream rather than buying some from stores.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 drops of chamomile essential oil
  • 4 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 2 drops of geranium essential oil
  • 1 oz (30g) of carrier cream
  1. Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the chamomile, lavender, and geranium essential oils. Make sure not to put more than the specified number of drops since essential oils are strong and too much can have a reverse effect than what was intended. Also, too much can have an overpowering smell that can be bothersome rather than refreshing.

  2. Step 2

Add the mixed essential oils to the carrier cream. Try to buy carrier creams that are lanolin-free, non-mineral, and organic.

  3. Step 3

After stirring the mixture well, place the cream in amber-colored glass jars. The reason for this specification is due to the sensitivity of essential oils. They can be damaged by ultraviolet light and a change in temperature. So make sure not to store your cream in a sunny place. A cool, dry area is more suitable.

  4. Step 4

Apply this cream on itchy or irritated hands and feet to get a soothing effect. Massaging the cream on your skin is very helpful since not only does it allow your skin to absorb the cream effectively, but also it will improve your blood circulation. This cream works wonders on sensitive skin and can be used daily.
