This guide will give you a few tips to getting a great deal on the HDTV you're looking for.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

There are many websites on the internet that sell discontinued models of HDTVs for much cheaper than you'd find them in stores. Even though they are discontinued or a few years old, they still have many of the features of the new models, and can be found for nearly half the price.

  2. Step 2

Check local listings on webpages like craigslist.com. People will often list TV's and other items on craigslist that you can buy for very reasonable prices. Be prepared to drive a ways to pick up the item however.

  3. Step 3

eBay is a popular destination for finding great deals on HDTVs. Make sure you read the entire listing before bidding however, as you can often be burned by buying a TV that is defective or broken. Always be safe when buying on eBay, and obey all rules of eBay.
